Established the kiln by the emperor in 1646.

Hand-made, glazed Japanese artistic earthenware from Ninnaji Temple in Kyoto. The NINSHU brand is allowed the usage of the Japanese Emperor's mark, the Imperial Seal of Japan.

The products are made by the classic technique of clay hand throwing. They were individually crafted by highly skilled pottery masters who pursue genuine beauty of color variation during firing. Each piece is unique and made with the craftsmanship and dedication of the pottery masters.
